What is SOC2 compliance?
In short, the Systems and Organization Controls (SOCs) audits were created by a global network of CPAs to form a reliable set of compliance standards for data security. There are three levels—SOC1, SOC2, and SOC3—with the SOC2 being relevant to what we do at Uplevel. Initiating the process to achieve SOC2 compliance opens our internal systems, policies, and procedures to a security audit. The audit evaluates organizations in five areas: Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy. (With their powers combined, we can protect the world!) Receiving approval from this SOC2 audit demonstrates that we follow the trusted standards to keep data private and secure when it’s in our domain. We consider it essential for any third-party service provider like us that manages deservedly protected data.

Uplevel also joins the Slack app directory
As part of our commitment to customers and security, we’ve also worked with Slack through a rigorous security and testing review in order to be included in the Slack Enterprise app directory. Uplevel is the only app for engineering analytics using the Enterprise APIs. This new Slack app allows Slack’s enterprise customers to connect to Uplevel with Slack Enterprise Grid APIs, creating a robust, scalable and highly secure end to end solution. Now organizations that use Slack’s enterprise offering can safely and securely benefit from Uplevel’s advanced analytics for their R&D teams.
